April Fool's Day profile photos

Could we keep cats as profile photos even after this April Fools' Day? I can think of some benefits it would bring to the site:

- Improved privacy

- A good exercise for memory

- More people checking out the whole profile rather than stopping at the propic

- Better atmosphere due to seeing cats everywhere

- Free puns about catfights

- The official acknowledgement that we are the male version of crazy cat ladies

- An encouragement to adopt stray cats

One day a year ... I thought it was funny and, as ever, executed in a stylish way. (I was sad, however, that a friend of mine appeared with a TIGER photo whereas I just got a cute kitty.)

Admin suggests we must wait two years for the next one. I suppose it must have been a bit confusing for anyone signing up to the site on 1st April but I hope no-one was put off.

Also - note to Admin. In the UK, the April Fool is traditionally YOU if tricks continue after 12 noon ...

But yes, I loved it. We really shouldn't take ourselves too seriously: thanks, Admin, for reminding us of this.
