The key to finishing your guy off in a reverse headscissor is to get his face up as close as possible to your butt. Yes, I know that is more sensual and erotic, but it serves a purpose. Think of a pair of scissors ...the deeper you can get the item to the top of the split of the two arms (legs) of the scissors, the easier you can cut something. That's where the most power is and less effort it takes to exert that power. The meatiest parts of your thighs are right at the bottom of your butt. Lock him there and your guy has to tap or nap ...usually rather quickly!
Yeah i asked around and got this reply.. im confused.. sorry, its a long thread, but im confused... A guy sent me this
is called petichia, it is when the capillary ends rupture. What is happening is a combination of two things that result in the same effect.
1) the pressure on the neck is displacing the blood in both the veins and arteries, some goes up into the head while some goes into the torso. This increases the pressure in the skull. The more surface area of the choking whatever the more blood is displaced. If a lean, tiny, ectomorph chokes you with his arm you won't get as much petichia, if a guy with big thighs chokes you with his legs, you can expect more petcichia.
2) Someone is choking with inadequate pressure to compress the arteries so only veinous blood is blocked. This means the heart is continuing to pump blood into the head but it cannot escape, again building up the pressure in the skull.
Many times people with squeeze their eyes shut, flexing the muscles in their face. This constricts the capillaries causing them to rupture.
Basically, what it comes down to is that there is no technique which prevents this. If someone is squeezing your neck but not hard enough that you pass out, you can get petichia. If someone uses their legs, you can get petichia. If you squeeze your face muscles while the blood pressure in your head is high, you can get petichia. Some people get it easier than others and it comes with the territory I'm afraid.

Zane Steinberg Thanks dude, just experimenting, squeezing with the adductors in a reverse scissors and squeezing glutes too, jaw up high on glutes, to catch cateroid seems to almost work better. although my partner does have big thighs.. haha

Christopher Ryan Pitts-Ekmahasawasdi Tell him to not focus on using his adductors which are weak and have little mechanical advantage. Instead he should lock his ankles, feet flexed, and focus on straightening his legs, driving his heels away

Zane Steinberg thank you. But you agree that the neck should be as high as possible, as in right up in glutes?

Christopher Ryan Pitts-Ekmahasawasdi No, the shape of the leg muscles make it so that the back and sides of the neck are what get compressed requiring more power to get to the arteries. It's better to be a little closer to the knees and pull the head in if what you're trying to get is a ko

Zane Steinberg oh.. your saying when you are closer to glutes the back of your neck, in fact whole neck gets squeezed? and i think the back of the neck leads to more pressure in head, eg redness. So the point is to seal of the cataroid arterys, with a specific area of the thigh..?
It's about getting a good clean choke, and not struggling by it taking too long. Struggling to open your eyes, to breathe, to move etc is what gives me the blood spots. Find someone, teach them how to do it safely and effectively and you won't get them anymore.
The reverse figure four will have to be very high up between the thighs before clamping down, and then has to be a strong person doing it.
I guess what my partner does is hit the carotid artery really well but doing exactly what I described above. Not enough time to struggle, just enjoy the ko.
Sleeper hold ("blood choke") not "air choke" (trachea compression). A matter of knowledge and precision not brute force strength, see Wiki for more: "blood spots" of original post (flushed face in general) are in part due to force/pressure on the internal jugular veins vs common carotid arteries, or something :-)
Do you mean reverse figure 4 facing the glutes? Or front ways? Sorry for my bad description. I am researching about anatomy of jugular and carteroid. Jugular is the one that makes you flushed I guess?
I was just wondering if anyone has any advice on knocking someone out in this hold safely, without receiving blood spots on the face?
Any advice pain positioning off The legs off the squeezer, technique Etc would be greatly appreciated..

In addition to my reply below, also below a link within a link, seemingly different, yet it is all the same/singular concept, suspect ferocewrstle makes this stuff up ;-)
