Does it matter ?
Here's a question for you....Does it matter if you win or loose ?
I know we all want to win by that pin, submission or TKO, its a boost to our egos and confidence, it says we are good at what we do but loosing can also be of benefit as it can push us to become better, step up our game. Oh if your bad looser, get a grip will ya.
For me its actually neither winning or loosing that matters but taking part, we all have that dry spell where oppotunities dont present themselves or circumstances prevent you from getting a match, so for me its the doing, the sweat, the sounds of combat, the pain (no its not a fetish:)), the camaraderie and the friendships you form - that's what boosts my ego.
So keep loving the combat sport you do and keep doing...

2018-02-27 13:38Exactly, there’s always an inner desire to give your best, but winning or losing isn’t important to me, enjoyment is!
If you stop enjoying matches then you may aswell give up!
I’ve made a few amazing friends through combat with them and I’d like to make a few more!

2018-02-27 15:59For me I prefer to win but have no issue with losing.
As someone that enjoys combat sports a defeat is better for me as I try to analyse the match and learn from it.

As Rocket said its all abut growth as a fighter.

2018-02-28 03:27It doesn't matter if I win or loose. It matters that I fight with everything I have to give. It is more about the fight and not the winning or loosing. Hope you have the a similar opinion. The idea is to increase the number of fighters.
Too many times guys get lost because they are always loosening. They are discouraged and stop trying.
I am here to learn and grow. I have difficulty understanding the process of finding the right man to fight. I think I will eventually.

2018-02-28 07:58If someone who is new to wrestling ,gets a fight with someone who is experienced & stronger, then its natural that chances of he is loosing the match is more. Then he has to accept the defeat as natural.

2018-03-01 18:58You win something in every encounter (1) The possibility of a new friend (2) wrestling different ht/wt ratio, different bio mechanics such as upper/lower limb ratio affecting how well any hold, whatever works or doesn't work. (3) different attitudes, aggressiveness. (4) the experience of different holds, maneuvers No two matches are alike – the more different ones you do, the better you become ready for anything out there. (5) It's more toughening up of your body.
Even if the opponent is the less than one percent who is nasty, rude, you also learned something---as long as you are not injured, you gain even if he tries to hurt you and you end up peacefully quelling him. Every encounter I've had was been a winner, in one way or another--- even if he takes me down in a nanoseconds – those are the guys who usually say "Let me teach you a few things, show you where you made mistakes, hot to do, hot to prevent .." Even that one who wanted to keep his tactics secret (saying I might use anything he might teach me against him in the future, or pass it on to someone he might meet) incented me all the more to get better so the day can come that I take him to Tap Out City, so I can say "Hey, guy. Let me show you how I did it."

Yep I think as wrestlers we can be lucky in what we do and whom we meet.

2018-03-02 14:25I’ve been lucky I guess.. the majority of guys I’ve met so far (barring a couple of exceptions) have been great to meet and wrestle - a couple of become very good friends off match too!
Maybe I’ve been spoilt or lucky, or maybe my gut feeling has helped me pick out the best of those willing to meet me!

2018-03-03 03:09I couldn't agree more. It's fun to talk trash before a match through instant message, but I'm all about the experience, body contact, and sheer erotic feeling it gives me. No matter if I lose the match, I'm still a winner Inside. The guys I've met on here and off have been so nice, I hope to meet more.
