I think people in general are avoiding conflict/confrontation. While it may be true that they do not want to wrestle with an older guy (which is their choice) they are hesitant to tell you that because they do not know what the reaction may be. Personally, I do not like wrestling with guys that are much larger than me. Not that I have anything against them, it simply isn't any fun for me. I get hit up by a lot of very big guys and based on my experience I find it easier to not respond. I have had too many aggressive responses that it isn't worth putting myself through that. I have also been on the receiving end as well and I would prefer a no response rather that some BS response after they leave town. People will be people and in this type of forum I feel I have to take everything with a grain of salt and not get upset. I know I am older now, not as vibrant as I used too be and unfortunately not as sexy as I was in my 30's. Good luck my friend and try to stay positive.
A new form of ageism seems to have shown up. Were this to have happened just once or twice it could be ignored but it seems to be very relevant between locals and visitors to Las Vegas. One notices that someone will be visiting or shows himdelf living now in Las Vegas, thus the profile seems interesting that you would liketot meet him, thus you send an email to him. Several days go by and then and then do you get a reply that he has left or is leaving Las Vegas and is unable to meet as a result. Why is this new avoidance tactic becoming so common here? Very unfortunate, very disrepectful, and could be easily avoided. It would seem that if one has no desire ot meet regardless of the reason that they let you know right away. The giveaway is that it shows your original ,message being read and then several days you later you get the negative response. W hy attimes there could be a fair reason for the latenotice, the fact that it has happened so often is really shameful. Thanks
