I have some transgender friends some like to be called T Gurls too as a kind of abbreviation but I've always used the terms you have. Funny didn't offend me the correct statement would be some overly sensitive people are offended the terminology it self is not offense only today's get a trophy for showing up generation who actually are offensive are bothered by it
