My sweet spot is also above the naval left, right and center, but not too high into the solar plexus. I can take the serious punching there. Low below the navel is where I bruise the most.

usually start off working right in the navel, then gradually go lower until the guy drops

I know much of this is fantasy so sorry to be a spoiler but Gut Punching can be dangerous & even fatal. If you see my vids you'll see that I can take a lot of punishment but am aware of the risks.
Harry Houdini was killed by unexpected blows to his abdomen causing peritonitis - the blows were delivered by a namesake (same surname) as me!

To add to this thread, a lot of guys don't know the sternum (or breastbone) ends in a pointed tip between the pecs and extending down towards the solar plexus. A high punch can cause this to snap off, driving it into the liver which can cause a fatal hemorrhage. Its why I never do solar plex punching and concentrate on giving/taking at the navel pit area. And yes, agree, surprise punches are not smart. Any kind of GP play should be planned & agreed to.

What you think about punches directly below the navel into the belly?

Plexus more than anything. If flexing mid stomach just above navel though. Same when punching generally...

mid is best for me too. Got an unexpected (unflexed) straight arm slug to the solar a couple weeks ago and almost blacked out . Been wanting to experiment with that again. That's a sweet spot if puncher wants the most reaction from punchee.

2 spots; just below the navel - the sweet spot is so the fist is only just covering the belly button, the rest of the fist should be below the belly button. The other spot is the solar plexus but it must be delivered with no warning and while un-prepared, nothing hotter than losing your breath suddenly without warning.

Does that below navel location also apply to a big belly like mine?

What is your "sweet spot" in your midsection? The place where you like to get hit and the pleasure/pain thing is max? Mine is under my navel about 2 inches. If I press in I can feel a connection down to my balls and even a pulse!
