Well, now that the thread has been started, I am looking for a place to train during my upcoming trips to NYC. I am capable of finding good gyms on my own, but I'm curious if anyone on here trains at any of the more frequently visited gyms in NYC?

HI tell me is a gym the only venue you looking for? Or could you practice in a wrestling/ fight room I'm setting up again at my three family in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. I'm setting up some 9 x 11 , 1 inch thick mats. If you viewed my photos in the gallery you can see the layout in a fairly large 16 by 14 ft room. When are you planning to come?

At the moment, I’m looking mostly for established BJJ gyms where people might train, but I’ll certainly keep your place in mind for future visits to NYC. There’s definitely a need for mat spaces out there. Hotels are no fun. :(
