Maurice rojo was one of the nicest guys. Like many comments listed we had our conversations about life, getting together one day to have a match. But most of all I think as reading the comments he was a friend. Not too many like that anymore; sure tough for a match yet would give u his shirt if you needed it. Rip big guy

This should make people take every opportunity to wrestle or box ,as its our thing so stop putting off that message you want to send and challenge.
I chatted on here with him a lot for a couple of years.
He and I met twice to wrestle and spend a good time in my hotel room as best buds when I travelled to Charlotte NC for work. He was a super nice, fun, cool, great enjoyable guy. We had plans to meet again.
I knew that he had heart issues. We were making plans to meet again for the third time, so to me this is a big loss as a good wrestling friend.
I messaged with Rojo often, expected to lockup with him at some point, maybe when he attended a Steelers game here in PA, although I am across the state from Pittsburgh. What a great guy....I am still shocked by the news of his passing. Way too soon. I will miss his hellos to me and to many of you on main chat. Still in disbelief here.....God Bless You, Rojo.

Although I never had the opportunity to meet Rojo, we did have great chats online and he seemed one of the most genuine guys I ever had the honour to talk with.

I was very saddened to hear that Rojo1971 had passed away.
I first began to chat with him soon after I had lost my husband Harborfighter in 2021.
Rojo shared with the room from his hospital bed that he had had a narrow escape from cardiac arrest.
From then on, he was a kind of touchstone for me, reminding me that we can get up off the canvas and fight on.

Just heard the sad news about the passing of one of the members on here, Rojo1971, and thought it would be nice to make a more permanent memorial of sorts for him here.
I chatted on and off with Maurice for a while now. He and I hoped to meet one day. He looked like hell of a tough fighter. But more important, he was a nice, cool, chill guy to chat with. Not pretentious at all, and open about his life. He made me laugh at times when I needed it.
